I miss NZ internet where my normal download speed (without any accelerators) are about 200kbs which is considerably faster than my 20kbs downloads here.

Oh well, don't complain.. I'll be mising the Malaysian food when I get back to NZ anyways..

Balu-Balu Project

As some of you know...

Some of my friends from HELP A-Levels tried to organise a trip to Kota Kinabalu to climb up the tallest peak in South East Asia - Mt Kinabalu in 2006

They called it - The Balu-Balu Project..

(I did not come out with that name..lolz...A certain someone *Cough* Michelle Yew *Cough* did)

Anyways, we didn't manage to go in the end because we did not book our accommodation early enough..

And also because we procrastinated like 2039475613451 times.

Sooo this year, I was determined to go

Rain or shine, I must climb up that big rock..

And thus there was,

Balu-Balu Project 2007

Yeah!!

Anyways, I started the climb on the 11th of November

At the foot-hill

Nice view of Sabah

Finally reached Laban Rata after a slow, long 5 hours climb

Stayed the night there and woke up at 2am for the morning climb

We climbed

And Climbed

And Climbed

Till we reached the peak!!

Nice view of the sunrise.. We made it just in time.

The view was awesome

Great view..

It was so tiring climbing up the mountain considering I didn't train alot before climbing up..

But the experience was totally worth it.

Something you would remember for life..
