Drinks.......
2 Bad experiences with drinks in 3 days.
CASE 1:
I broke my glasses on saturday morning and couldn't see well. At night, I was in the computer room with my family. Felt kinda thirsty so I asked my mom to pass me a bottle of water which was right next to her. The minute I opened the bottle and took a look at the colour of the water I knew that there was something wrong with it. So I asked my mom to have a look at it. Soon, she gave me the thumbs up and I started gulping down the water. At first, it tasted ok but that was probably because I gulped down the water continueously. But sure enough, a few gulps later I had to stop to take a breath and it was then I realized that my water tasted a bit wierd, in a soapy type of way. Upon furthur inspection, I found out that my water was in fact - SOAP WATER!!!...haihhhh....I think my sister was playing with that water....
Consequences:
- Gave me a BAD stomache ache
- Made me sick for a day
Lesson learnt:
Don't gulp water down in one go...stop for air at short intervals
CASE 2
Went to Ali Maju Mamak this afternoon after classess and ordered , Naan, Maggi Soup and Sirap Bandung. Yup...sirap bandung sounded like a good idea to me back then. However, when they came with my drink, I realized that there was something wrong with my drink. First of all, it had a seriously light shade of pink. Forgetting the lesson learnt with the soap water, I decided to drink it up quickly...BIG MISTAKE..my sirap bandung wasn't properly mixed and all the condensed milk was still at the bottom. Not knowing that the bottom end of my straw was also at the bottom of water, I took a few gib sips of my drink. Haihhh..it was like drinking from a newly opened can of Dutch Lady condensed milk......
Consequences:
- Had to rushed straight to the toilet as soon as I got home
- Felt a bit sick
Lesson Learnt:
- Remember to remember about my past lesson and hope that my remember-ing cells in my brains remember to do its job which is to remember...
- Sirap Bandung = BAD......
