Nerd-Busters

Yup! Its that dreaded time of the year again..


Exam time!!!


Yippie!!!!!!!!!!


Time to turn nerdy for a few weeks.


Just like my SPM time, I've started to stick pieces of papers containing notes all over my room so I would read them whenever I see it.


For example:

And of course, its the time where my table is in a total mess, filled with books and notes.

And my notes filled with "sin, cos and tan."

Not forgetting my endless supply of coffee

So for these few weeks, I have to "Tah Pao" food to eat in my room just to save some time.

My Hair is super-long.But I've got no time for a hair cut.Study Study Study!!!!

And I gotta change my "No Fart Zone" sign in front of my door,

Lalala...

Errrr.. I mean,

Hehe..

And I gotta spend less time with my Lou Poh,

Which is my laptop

I really need to buck up this whole 2 months just to make sure I get my "A"s.

The next few months promises to be a crap-tatstically, crap-fully good time.

Intensive, Extensive Extra Class starts today.


And we had 4 hours of chemistry.


So, how do the people of HELP's A44 Group A keep awake/ have enough energy to last through the 4 hours?

There were people eating egg sandwitch (Wholemeal bread, mind you), some other sandwitches, and fresh pineapples.

So, there we were, lecturer teaching in front, us munching on Mentos behind.

Anyways, we finally started planning for our,

Bulu- Bulu er....I mean Balu-Balu Project 2006 (Short for Kinabalu)

Yup!!!We A44 Group A people are planning a trip to hike up Mount Kinabalu from July 16 - 23 (Date is still subject to change).

And I'm in charge of booking the air tickets. So if anyone knows about if there is a group booking sort of thing for air tickets, please let me know ASAP.

We finally get to plan out an event of our own! The last time we did that was the Ulu Bendul trip last year which didn't turn out too well due to a "Certain" country that caused the haze in KL. So, not many people came because of the haze.

I'm really looking forward to this trip. We are gonna hike up the mountain, then go snorkelling in the islands in Sabah, and then chill out at the beach.

Two days ago while we were waiting for in class for our Chemistry lecturer to come, there was this guy who we didn't know that suddenly came into our class. We soon found out that he was searching for his umbrella which he left in our class (Because he had his class there before us).

Anyways, everyone in class started looking high and low for it. Underneath chairs, tables, etc etc...Someone even suggested looking into the rubbish bin to see if it was there..

After a long while, we stopped and asked that guy to check if the umbrella is in his bag

Then he said in a very funny way, " Hehe, I would look stupid if it really is"

Then, the girls noticed something at looked awfully similiar to the shape of an umbrella in the front compartment of his bag..So the guy still didn't notice it and continued to search his bag for a while..

And when he got to the front compartment,

VIOLA!!

It was there all along!!!In the cozy front compartment taking an afternoon nap...

Everyone was laughing like mad. And when he left the class..

Everyone started going like "Ehhhh, that's so Jo-Shuaa laaaaaaaaa"

And then continued laughing.....

Hmmm...Do I do that all the time?

Ok, so thats basically my "Study Break" Schedule next week.


Like I've been saying the whole of this week, we're gonna need a Study break from our study break.


Oh wait, That doesn't sound right.


Why don't they just do us all a favour and not call it a Study Break and just call it "Extensive Extra Classes to Torture Our Dear A-Levels Students by Giving Them Lots of Homework and Asses (Assignments) to do" instead.


But nonetheless, I guess we still appreciate our lecturers who come all the way back to college to teach us eventhough its break time.


Fortunately, my stats lecturer won't be having any extra classes next week!!!!


Speaking of which, I notice my stats lecturer seem to be calling out my name in class quite often these days. And the thing is, she pronounces my name as "Zhor Suah" not "Jo-Shua". Its sounds so chinese laa.Like Ah Beng.

Anways , HAPPY EASTER everyone!!!Ya, I know easter was yesterday but I didn't have time to blog so I'm wishing everyone now!!


Last friday, I went for this easter service in FGA church. There was this guy who actually got stung by a jellyfish and died in the hospital for 15 minutes. But then, he came back alive and he came to share his testimony.


The thing I remembered most about the service was this quote :

Nails did not hold him to the cross.....

Love did...

How true!!God loves us so much that he actually sent someone to die for his creation...

Ok, let me paint you a better picture:


Just imagine, that one day, you magically managed to create a tiny new world with tiny little-smaller-than-hobbit-size ants that are able to think and talk living in it. They didn't know you created them and they lived happily , blah-blah-blah....

Then after a while, the tiny world you created suddenly started to turn bad. People started killing each other and stealing. Rape cases hapenning everywhere. They created weapons that are powerfull enough to destroy their whole world... They started to curse the person who created them (Keep in mind thats YOU! and they still don't know that you created them).And oh ya, they think they are more powerful than you because of their technology. So, they try to gang up against you.

And because you love them so much, you actually magically transform yourself into one of them (Meaning, degrading yourself) and actually try to save them eventhough they hated you and blames you for everything that goes wrong..

God went one step futhur and actually sent Jesus to come down to sacrifice himself, eventhough he is God (All powerfull and everything) just to save us.

Just think of it for a sec. Would you even bother to go help your creation that has turned against you and hate you? Would you even sacrifice yourself for those people that don't even know you and probably won't even remember that you helped them?I mean, come on, you are the one who created them anyway . You got the power, just destroy them laaaa if you don't like them.Why waste time degrading yourself turning into one of them.

But God didn't, because he loved us so much he didn't just destroy the whole of the earth. He tried to save us, hoping that we will change...


That is why Jesus died on the cross. And this is why we celebrate Easter..


To remember God's unconditional love.


Yup!! That's sort of the Easter story summarised into a few paragraphs.

Only 4-5 more weeks before exam. Michelle pointed out something the other day..

Last time when we were in school, the good students compared their marks. The better ones have A1s and the not-so-good ones have A2s

Now in college, the better ones score 95%-100% and the not-so-good ones only score 80%-90%.

Stress man...

After Class

Had a wierd incident today.


After class today, Wen Bin was driving me home (Hey Wen Bin, thanks for fetching me to Mid V these few days) and we passed by Bangsar Shopping Centre. Suddenly out of nowhere, there was this big truck and going really fast towards us from the left hand side. We were both shocked because, the truck driver didn't look like he was going to stop.


Fortunately, he did.



Then, not even 1 minute later, while we were travelling on the same stretch of road, this other black car did the exact same thing. But this time, it was much faster. It was something like this:

Ermm, please excues my lousy drawing. I've been reduced from photoshop CS2 to just paint because I reformated my PC a few weeks ago and haven't install photoshop back.

Anyways, I was like "Wen Bin!!Watch Out!!!!"..

My heart was beating like there was no tomorrow. And sweat was dripping down my cheeks like the Nigeria falls.

Ok. I learnt something new yesterday.


No matter HOW tired you are!! May it be after 10 hours of class, or a whole a day of homework and studying,


DO NOT drink coffee!!!


Yesterday when I arrived at 1U my eyes were already so tired. I had to struggle to keep myself awake. Anyways, after having lunch at some Italian restaurant called Italianese (I'm not quite sure how it is spelt), Shireen, Michelle and Wee Bing decided to have some StarBucks coffee to keep ourselves awake.


BAD MOVE JO-SHUA!!!!


After drinking a regular coffee, I felt as if someone just changed my batteries and I was all energetic again!


BUT,


That was only my body. My mind still threathened to shut down any moment. So, in order words, I was kinda Brain Dead!!


Imagine that!!Brain Dead!!Kinda reminds you of the zombies from some resident evil game, where they minds lose control over their body. Then due to lack of sleep, they have these bloody red eyes and big bags under their eyes.


I wanted to sleep, but my body was still hyper. I wanted to keep awake but my mind was half dead.


Haihhhh..


Later that day, I went to play basketball at Taman Desa with Kim Miang and gang.


Well, it was quite fun because all of us put 100% effort into that game. But there was this new guy called Jack that "Tah Pao" all of us..


Hehe..Anyways, while I was jumping to get one of the rebounds, I reached my hand out to grab the ball, but unfortunately the ball came crashing down right at the tips of my fingers.


OUCH!!!!


Its just like when someone jumps up at a very high speed and then another person just throws something really hard at your head. The force transfers to your neck. Hence the bruise.
