Toshiba A100-P543
I need some advice.
I'm gonna go to the PIKOM PC Fair next week (1-3 Dec) and get myself a new notebook to bring to New Zealand.
And someone recommended me this model.
Toshiba A100-P543.
And here's the specs.
Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology
Intel Core Duo T2300
1.66GHz, 2Mb, 667MHz
256Mb ATI Mobility RADEON X1300
512Mb DDR2 Memory
80Gb SATA HDD
DVD Super Multi-Dual Layer
15.4in. WXGA Screen
Intel PRO Wireless LAN / 56Kb
MS Windows XP Home Recovery
What I want is a notebook with wide screen, which is fast.
Well, at least fast enough to let me multi-task. (Normally I would have songs playing in the background while I have Azureus, Limewire, Internet Explorer and other applications on at the same time)
And I want to play some games. (Dota!!!)
Is the processor fast enough? Or should I upgrade it to 1.83 GHz with a 100 Gb hard disk for an extra RM 500?
Is the graphics card good enough?
How's Toshiba's quality control?
Comments and help are appreciated!!!!
Or maybe someone could suggest a better branch/notebook.
I really want to get a good notebook to bring to the New Zealand a.k.a the land of sheeps and cows.
Hows's Toshiba's service centre in New Zealand? Is it easy to get my notebook (Choi choi choi!!!) repaired in case anything (Touch wood!!!) goes wrong?
Would I have to travel a long long way to get my notebook repaired?
Or would the sheeps there get jealous of my oh-so-nice-and-shiny-yet-elegent-and-stylish-leng-lui notebook? (Oh yes, my notebook is a girl. I know it even before I buy it.)
When Toshiba hits the fans.
LOL

All the best to all SPM students!!!
Remember :
Tak Study = Fail
Study = Tak Fail
Add both equations
Tak Study + Study = Fail + Tak Fail
So,
Study (Tak + 1)= Fail (Tak + 1)
Divide each side with (Tak +1)
Study = Fail

Keep calm and answer the questions.
And remember to put the right name on your paper.
Best wishes!!!
