It all started with this Big hole in the middle of the road leading to my house..
Well, this photo was taken today while Wen Bin was fetching me home. But really, the story began 3 days ago (Its a TRUE story by the way, this really did happen)
* Please forgive me for my photo editing skills..I'm not very good at it
3 days ago : There was this hole in the middle of the road. So the residents decided to put some stuff in the hole to avoid cars from going into the hole..
First they put -
Tree Branches!!!!!! They did that so that at least people will notice the hole and won't go over it
And then the next day, they took out the branches and put -
A Chair!!!! Well, Can't complain about that , but they got creative on the next one...
On the 3rd day, they put :
A Tyre!!!!!Of all things!!!!
I was driving and suddenly saw this tyre in the middle of the road.I was like "What the?????". I almost braked in the middle of the road
And finally, today when I was on my way back, they decided to put something normal. Which is -
Aaaaa, they finally got it right.
I'm wondering what would they put tomorrow??
Some construction workers??
People in Seputih like to do wierd stuff....
Hehe, sorry about the pictures. I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take any photos.
Haihhh, Gek Sei Yan man my new guitar teacher!!! Actually, its kinda funny..Well, I just came back from my guitar class. We spent almost an hour repeating the same part of the song again and again. And he was like :
Teacher : You shouldn't go "Daa Daa Dee-Daa Dum Da"
Me : So how should I play it??
Teacher : It should be "Daa Daa Dee-Daa Dum Da"
Me : ........................
Inner Me : *Does the Russells Peters WTFish sign (in my mind of course)*
He repeated the same thing TWICE!!!!And this continued throughout the whole class.
The problem is not me knowing the problem. The real problem is that he doesn't tell me how to solve my problem.
I miss my old fei zhai teacher..He was sooo much better
Oh well....
I need more exercise!!!! The KL marathon "fun" 7km run is only 1 week away!!!
And I haven't been practicing regularly. I need HELP!!!
Wow, I just broke my record for the longest time spent in dreamland!!!
I spent 15 hours sleeping last night
All the way from 7pm to 10am this moning!!! And that means I missed dinner last night. Actually "sleeping" is not so accurate, "hibernating" is a better word to use for this case.
Haha, I slept like a pig.
Speaking of pigs, check out this photo :
Haha, Same species
I feel so much more energetic right now!! Aaaaa, if I only could do that everyday.
Anyways, I just found out how these mamaks mass produce all their roti so fast. Yesterday while I was at a mamak, I saw this guy puting like 20+ raw eggs into this big bucket (Just imagine your normal bucket that you usually find in your toilet and then imagine it 10 times bigger). Then without washing his hands, he used put his hand into the bucket and used it to stir the whole egg solution thing.
Mamak-flavoured roti!
Wonderfull!
I only pray that he didn't just come out of the toilet. If not, we will have mamak + some other flavours (most likely salty...note: I think you guys are smart enough to know why) flavoured roti!
And what if some of his hand hair into the solution? We would get some hairy roti canai.
And then there was this cloth he used to wipe all the forks and spoons before giving it to the customer. Well, I thought at least these people are kind enough give us clean forks and spoons.
But it turns out that he uses the same cloth to dry his hands
.........
Hmmmm, now where is my picture of the japanese character with the big sweat drop rolling down the back his head again?
There are Lecturers that are boring, slow, hot-tempered..etc...Some give alot of homework, make you answer questions that you don't know the answer..
AND THEN,
There are lecturers who are really dedicated and makes you enjoy learning. We usually look up and admire these types of lecturers and show our appreciation in many forms (such as actually doing their homework, always coming on time for class..etc etc). Fortunately for me, most of my lecturers are the dedicated type! Although some more than the others, but thats not the point.
My chemistry lecturer (Ms Lai) really helped our my class alot throughout her time teaching my class, although she only taught us for around 3/4 of a year. She was even hardworking enough to give us4 extra hours each week just to make sure we finish all our past year questions. Actually, you can really see that my classmates respect this teacher alot. For example, most of the students managed to attend all 5 of her classes each week, but some ponteng some classes of the other subjects they take (Eventhough there is only 3 classes each week for the other subjects). It just shows that a good lecturer really makes a difference in each student.
Though my maths teacher started off a bit slow, but I can tell that she is a really nice person (REALLY NICE..think MRS Smiley Face..haha). I think these type of teachers sincerely care for the student and want them not only to excel acedemically but also want to help the students to developt into more mature and open-minded people. During these times, the lecturers get to know and understand the students better thus making classes more fun. College classes are so much better with these type of lecturers
Ahh, Life is good.
P.S : Thanks for the prayers! I managed to do a quality devotion today. I hope I will have the will power to continue this.
Starting from tomorow, I'll try to wake up early to do my daily devotion instead of at night coz at night :
I'm very sleepy
I can get distracted easily (Dota, internet..etc etc)
So, I think I can spend better time with God in the morning...The only downside is that I have to WAKE UP EARLY!!! Yeahh, I know I'm not the most cheerful person in the morning but at least I'm not as teruk some people *ahem ahem* who are really *ahem ahem* in the morning..(You know who you are..haha)...Actually, I also dunno who I am talking about..hahaha
Believe it or not, My class (well, at least some part of it) just got more mou-liu today..
At Bio class, we were supposed to do some experiment using sodium bicarbonate for photosynthesis...But Hui Ning found more fun way of using sodium bicarbonate...
Observe :
Bubbles!!!!..Wahaha...
And then we had physics class. After doing some boring experiment, I got a bit bored, so I took some of the blue-tack and made :
A dinosaur!!!!..Barney's cousin!!..yeahh...mou-liu right?
After that, things started to get a bit out-of-hand
A Duck/Platipus!!!!
Huh??What??
Haha..The final product..Duck/Platipus in a pond together with some leafy things
Oh no!!!Teacher is coming!! Hide it under that cloth quick!!!......
I think teacher might still see it...Hide it somewhere else!!
Aaaa..Here is much better...Now, zoom out..
LOL???
Hao Wei making something else
We were supposed to do this with our Coca-Cola Cans...
But..again, Hao Wei found a better way to use it..
Blue-Tack guy climbing up a Coke Can..
Here he is again...And that's a swimming trunks you dirty minded people!!..
*Nothing to say*
We left it in the box so the next class would find it
A better photo
Time seems to fly by when you are making blue-tack people in class....
And when I came back home, I saw this..
The basket thing is supposed to prevent the ANTS from gettingto the banana
...
...
...
My expression right now :
*Huge drop of sweat rolling down the back of my head*
The Good News is that I've found most of them back today!!
The Bad News is.......I really need some people to un-blur-kan me...why??read on..
Well, last friday after my lab session, me and michelle yew were walking back to Wisma HELP when we were approached by 2 girls. They said they were from A43 (Jan Intake) and asked us if they could borrow our lab coats because they forgot to bring theirs. They looked quite trust-able so I decided to lend it to them.
Now, normally people would take down their phone numbers JUST IN CASE they can't pass it back to us on that day. So, naturally I took out my handphone and unlocked to keypad. But somehow...I got distracted (maybe because we were discussing about where to meet up to get our lab coats back ) and I phone-locked my handphone back without taking their handphone numbers down...
STUPID!!!! *smacks head*
haihhh..And sure enough, we didn't get back our lab coats that day..And worst of all, I had no way of contacting them..
Another incident:
This monday, I woke up only to find that my Biology Lab manual and notes were missing!!!!I searched the whole house throughout the ENTIRE WEEK, trying to find it back..I even asked my kakak to help me look for it...
Well, I found it back this morning..
Where??
In my college bag which I bring to college everyday!!!
Valentines Day is the day I sit at home and laugh at the couples who are stuck in the BAD traffic jam on their way to their super-expansive dinner...
nuff said
Traffic along the federal highway yesterday was terrible!!!!!!!
Anyways, I'm sick (AGAIN!!!).I've been sneezing like crazy since this morning. Even some lecturers asked me whether I was ok..Haihhhh..someone help me!!!!!!I got da flu!!!!And I think I've passes it on to some people in my class!!..
Really Sorry arr...
Hehe...today right before the lift doof closed when I was going out, I let out a gi-nourmous (a new word by combng gigantic + enourmous) sneeze...So, I think I contaminated everyone in the lift too..
I know its a bad habit but I can't help being the water fish in my class...It's not my fault..really!!!!!
I always kena accused of things I didn't do, thus giving the whole class a BAD impression of me..All because the teachers misunderstand me and start "scolding"..
My close friends would remember the bad incident with my Physics teacher, and the incident of me parking my car in college...Well, something similiar happened today during stats class..I'm not as bad as to talk bad about them on the web so I will not use any names in this posts
I shall call it : The Stats Saga! (Lame eh?)
In our third and final term in A levels, we get to choose to either take Mechanics 1 (M1) OR Statistics 2 (S2)..Knowing that I will be futhering my studies in engineering so I happily went to M1 class this wednesday..Only to find out that the teacher there is really boring (well at least to me)..Its not that the way of teaching is boring..Its just that we learn the exact same stuff we learnt in Form 4 Physics, which is the 5 equations of motions, i.e : V = U + At , s = (u+v)/2 X T etc etc..For those non-science students out there, this is one of the MOST basic stuff you learn in physics..I didn't want to repeat those stuff all over again because we already repeated it in Physics unit 1 last term...So, I decided to go for the statistics class today..
Class was ok, the teacher was really enthusiastic and was always smiling throughout the whole class..In class, she started teaching the Binomial probability thing (Discrete Probability) that we've already learnt in Add Maths during Form 5, so I already know how to do some questions..Feeling bored, I decided to start on the questions that she gave in her notes..Not too long later, I finished it and started day-dreaming. Then she ask the whole class to do the question that I have already done..(the whole class takes out their calculator and starts to do their work)..A short while later, She passes by me and stopped right beside me and asked me why I didn't have my calculator out..Innocent me, who was still day-dreaming tried to answer but before anything but a very blur "errrrr" came out, she proceeded to tell me sarcastically (I dunno whether it was my imagination or for real..but I really think she was being sacarstic) that I don't need to use my calculator to do my work (she talked quite loudly actually..the front part of the class could hear our conversation)..she said some other stuff too...bla bla blahh...then she went to the front to show the working...
After finishing the working, she asked the class for the answer.. And I happily said out my answer(which was correc by the wayt..haha)!!..So she went like :
Teacher : ehh, you didin't even do your working, how you get the answer? Did you copy from your friend? (very loudly and sacarstically)
Me : *sweat*
Then later on, Hao-Wei (who was sitting beside me) told teacher that we actually were still deciding on whether to take M1 or S2..So she looked at me and said : " since you don't like to press calculator, you better not take S2..M1 may suit you better (again sacarstically but she was still happily smilling away)...Said in a way that gives you the impression that she doesn't want you to be in class...
Well, there's were still other stuff, but I don't find it that significant so I will leave the details out..Ya, I know what you are thinking..I'm a bit too sensitive and "Siu Hei" right??..well, maybe...Maybe not...But IMO If a teacher has a problem with you, the teacher should talk to you in private, not sacarstically tell you off in front of class..This incident is much less worst than the Physics teacher incident(5 times worst) and the car parking incident(10 times worst)..I was just innocently doing my own work and there she goes...
At the end of the class, I decided to take up Stats eventhough I gave her a first bad impression...Coz I felt that I shouldn't let this incident stop me from learning something new.
Ok..now to the serious stuff (not referring to my stats teacher anymore)...I dislike people who pretend to be very nice to you and help you do nice thing and everything but in the end they really don't like you and talk bad about you behind your back.(Again..I'm talking in general..not targetting anyone here..just my thoughts).. I mean, if you have a problem, come and say it out face to face and not talk bad or insult behind you..And also people who don't check properly and start accusing you of something you didn't do..I had an incident where there was this player in an online game accused me of hacking just because I was winning the game (i.e beating his team)..so I told him to check the replay and kindly apologise (by messeging me) if he finds out that he is wrong (sounds fair right?) if I am wrong, he can report me to the GM...Anyways, after the game, I checked the replay and found alot of proof that I really wasn't hacking (duh!!)..I waited but no msg came..and I never saw that guy online again..
People should really find out everything before they start accusing other people..If not, they would just be embarasing themselves..and the innocent people will be hurt because what the accuser(is there such a word?) said can't be taken back thus giving everyone a bad impression of the victim..If everyone just take 1 minute to re-think before accusing, the whole situation would be totally different..No one gets hurt, no one gets embarressed = to a nicer world to live in....Right??
P.S : I know this doesn't sound like my normal post, but I would like to share my thoughts and discuss these issues with everyone...
Hmm....I think my posts are getting lame-er and lame-er...
Anyways, today I decided to take a day off and go watch a movie with Gadiy and a few more Taman Desa friends..
We ended up watching the WIERDEST show in the history of movies :
KEEPING MOM (Or was it keep mom ? I forgot..)
Here's the summary:
A pastor (Atkinson) preoccupied with writing the perfect sermon fails to realize that his wife is having an affair and his children are up to no good.
The wierd part is that the new house-keeper their family hired was a Murderer (A very polite one though)..Later on, she kills the person who has an affair with the pastors wife (Gloria) with nothing but a HOT IRON.(After killing a few other ppl)
No, Its not the Iron that you used to build stuff...Its the one where you use to Iron clothes!..BTW, did I mention that the house-keeper was in her eighties?..
So, normally if you found out that your house-keeper killed someone you usually you mad and report it to police right? Wrong again...They ended up helping her cover up because they later found out that the House-keeper is actually Gloria's MOM!!!...(Am I making any sense?)
Here's the most cliche conversation of the movie :
Grace (The house-keeper) : Oh, so you know about the other bodies!(Referring to the ppl she killed) Gloria : What other bodies? Grace : Oh. You don't know about the other bodies...
The worst part is...The show is rated 18++...Aarrghhhhhhhhh!
Later on, my, Yong Kai, Yong Kai's cousin, Gadiy and also Nigel (Which I pronounce as "knee-girl") went to Brewball to play some pool
Here's Nigel trying to hit the ball
Here's Gadiy
Hehe...I'm not that good in pool..In fact, I'm not good in most sports..What can I say? I guess I'm not a real sporty person...
But at least I've improved from yesterday....Coz, yesterday when I played with Gadiy, I kept hitting the cue ball into the hole..
OH YA!!! Did I mentioned that Jez SMS-ed me today!!!!All the way from Australia!!!!!!!!Yeah...She finally reached there safely....Haha..that really brightened up my day!!
Finally went back to college today to find out that we have a new math teacher
The first impression that we got was the she was a really kind but SLOW teacher..
Example 1:
Maths teacher : *starts calling our names to take our attendance* Maths teacher : Jo-Shua.. Me : here!! Maths teacher : ok..how do u pronounce P-E-A-R-L-O-N-N-I *says it slowly while waving her hand slightly for each letter..* Class : (says her name)
Then she goes on doing that for around 4 other names Class: *Dead Silence*
Later on.... (After giving a very SIMPLE example...) Teacher : so class....do u all understand?...want me to give another example Class : *Still Dead Silence .....(eventhough I wanted pull off all my hair and scream NOOOOO)*
Later on... Teacher : Am I going too fast??coz I usually teach F.Maths..gotta rush alot Class : *more dead silence*
So, our class remained quiet thoughout her class...which should be a good thing right??
